HeavyWaterGate blog was started to provide a focus on marginalized concepts in physics, such as low energy nuclear reactions (or “cold fusion”). I wanted to look into how the development of science under capitalism could explain its suppression, and the fate of similar exotic physics applications. The blog has since expanded to include skepticism of ruling class power and its narratives. This means I’m generally skeptical of the “public reasons” behind major geopolitical events, such as 9/11, and NATO’s wars on Libya and Syria.
Providing a focus on marginalized concepts in physics, such as low energy nuclear reactions (or cold fusion). I’m also interested in exploring the role institutional science has in marginalizing concepts which have a predictably harmful affect on capitalism. The intersection of capitalism and science is rarely touched upon in critical literature on science’s role in society, so I hope to offer substantial insight on this point. I will also explore systems of knowledge production and distribution, which can frame topics in a manner subservient to power.
